Question Which shocks?

Time to replace the shocks on my 99 Silverado. I'm at a standstill and need some help/options. Which does everone prefer...Edelbrock performance IAS shocks or Bilstein? Looking fo a good balance between smooth on raod and as well as be able to tame the big bumps. Nothing to harsh. Thanks in advance.

I've had the Bilstein shocks on my last truck and loved them. I don't have any experience with the others.

I've heard good things about both, and I have the Bilsteins myself. I think they're awesome, solid ride, not stiff or harsh like the factory Z71 shocks. My father has the Edelbrock IAS shocks in both of his Blazers, and he's very happy with them also.

I have 35$ Monroe Sensatracs and they work good for me. Personally I would go with the Edelbrock IAS I've heard good things about them. I guess whichever one was cheaper out of Bilsteins or IAS.

I'm running the Edelbrocks. Truck handles much better. When I need new ones I'll buy them again.

I have heard alot of good things about both. I have the Edlebrocks also and they perform much than the ole stockers with my 2/4 drop.

Anyone tried both? If so which one do you prefer?

Few have tried both. I have Bilsteins in everything else (race car, Supra) and will replace my 4th set of factory shocks (in 26k miles) with them as soon as it is warm enough.
