If anyone knows where to get the shorter front bumpstops I'll buy a set just to experiment with.

Yeah the back of my Colorado sits like that....well maybe a .25" at ride height.

Before ordering I see them in different lengths. Wouldn't you guys agree to run the shortest one possible so that your spring/shock do all the dampening? Wouldn't you want the bump stop to just prevent metal to metal contact on a hard hit?

Black GMC the first foams ones are much better than the one below.

Other guy, you need to run a bumpstop that has the same collapsed height of the factory one to prevent the suspension from binding.

I've worked with hundreds of different suspensions and about every suspension truck wise from 90's +. The factory bump stop will ride the best. You could run a foam bump pad with the same collapsed height if you really can't stand the fact your riding on the factory progressive stops. The foam stop will ride good. The polyurethane bump stops suck.

Here's a good comparison I have of a factory front shock and 88-98 c1500 Monroe Reflex monotube.

^^^^ thats good to know for the lowered guys who would just like to walk into a parts store and buy a drop shock. I also heard the shocks for an astro van are shorter.

Well i took off the belltech street performer shocks and they are toast... They are only 1.5 years old with about 10k on them... The rear shock i could compress easily and it took them about 2min to finally extend....

I put on the monroes and removed the bumpstops and it rides pretty decent now... I am wondering if i can get my belltechs warrantied...
