Here's what I did. I made the loop from one I got from Summit, but fabbed a square tube frame. The mounting brackets are 1/4" plate, with tapped holes, welded to a heavy spot under the seats ( I think in the seat belt boss). The square tube frame has a corresponding mounting bracket.

I thought about coming off the crossmember, but just couldn't come up with anything I liked.( I'm kinda picky that way!)

Don't have any of the rear loop.

I thought about making more, but I think the different body styles won't have the same spacing for the mounting boss vs the required 6"to 8" location from the forward u-joint.

Mine is a summit 25.00 unit quickly welded on before a race. Its ugly but here ya go...

Great ideas and installs guys !!!!!!

I got bit by the pinion angle bug and broke the rear caps of the shaft, it dented my new muffler, and got bent during its bout with the asphalt LOL. , so i had to have another shaft made, got lucky though no other damage. So loops are Next on the list.

I was also curious on how much spacing you guys were using between the shaft and loop, these pics are great for that .
