Default Signs of a 4L60 starting to fail?

I blew my first one at 81K and it felt like it was slipping between 1st and 2nd and than Bang! Now 29K later after a brand new tranny was installed by the dealer, I got on it the other morning and it felt like I was hitting my rpm limiter and no where near 6K. Could it have been my G80 kickin in or maybe my converter or the trans? If it not the trans I'm not to worried i still have 20k on the warrentee.

start making appointments for the trans replacement... have a shift kit and servos put in with this one if they'll do it.

on my last truck, 97 1/2 ton. The 1-2 wot shift would slowly bleed off. This was only after the trans had warmed up. Any other gear was fine, it was just the 1-2 wot shift, normal driving was ok, you would have never noticed it.

i had a 2001 ECSB silverado and i blew 3 trannys in 2 months of driving, and this was a brand new truck that i bought from the dealer. the dealership could never figure out what was wrong. at WOT, the tranny would hit the rev limiter on the 1-2 shift and stay there a long as i held my foot to the floor. when i let up, the truck would shift and be fine during the rest of the shifts. get urself an appointment somewhere and definitely upgrade it!
