Default single disk converter

would a single disk 9.5 inch PI 3800 stall with a 2.53 STR be ok in a 4400lb truck i just think i would be better off with a triple disk but i can get a really good deal on this just looking for some opinions btw its going behind a heads and cam 6 liter.

That converter will be just fine.... It all depends on how you apply and use the clutch

i've been using one for about 3 years with no problems, behind a 6.0 and now a 408 and it still working good even after it being locked up at wot the whole 3 years. but i do like the feel of the triple disks. i need to upgrade already.
