I am running a 2600 stall with a STOCK rear leaf setup I cut a 1.71 with the MT street radials at 22lbs of air. I like them because I cut better light than most people and I can drive the truck to the track if I have to. If someone is talking trash on the street I can drive them to the secret spot.

little update:
my friend is letting me borrow his 27x10.5 et streets. if these hook, i'm going with a full slick since i know they will hook more that the et streets. if they don't hook, i might be looking into a 275/60/15 dr. either the m/t or the hoosiers.

well lance, i just got my slicks in today, they are 28x11.5x16 et streets just like the ones in the picture, i was gona go with full slicks from hoosier but i got some a little cheaper from my buddys business, so took them down the road today just to test them and believe it or not they hooked real well, no doubt they will hook at the track! i tried it on some fresh pavement down my road that has just been paved and i stalled the truck up to around 2000rpms and stomped it and it spun just a tad bit then it hooked up awesom, i love'm man. cant wait to test them at the track and get some times!

I am thinking of trying the Hoosier 28x10.5x16 on some stock silvy rims if I ever get this transmission in. I have done several sets of ET Streets on previous setups. Granted they were only 26" tall, I wasn't happy with their performance on the track and were terrible on the street. Does anyone know if the Hoosiers are available in a stiff wall slick in the size mentioned above?

IMO, if your going to spend money on tires, might as well go all the way.
I'm running the same ET Streets as you're borrowing, and they hook perfect. Good Luck!
P.S.Dont forget to take that tire out of the back before you go Cajun!
