Slight "ringing" noise in rear
I have a 10-bolt differential with a trutrac, superior axles and superior ring and pinion (3.42)
At about 35 & 67mph I hear a light "ringing" noise that sounds like its coming from the rear end. Nobody even notices until I point it out to them.
The truck drives flawlessly and I have been hearing the same noise for thousands of miles with no change. I usually just don't drive at those speeds.
Any ideas? Should I be concerned? I plan on pulling the pan off and changing the fluid in the near future. What should I be looking for?

Mine are superior too and the grease pattern was perfect both accel and coast and mine ring or sing whichever u want to call it. A lot of the aftermarket gears are hardened a lil different from stock and they sing a little bit. I would say as long as the grease pattern was good when u set them up then just live with a little singing in the rear. The only ones I heard of not sing are oem and a few others
