. Where's the fun and challenge of copying what thousands have done before u.. I'm all alone at the top of the Nissan performance truck scene.. I don't care how much money it costs I want to show people that trucks can be fast also.. Be nice to get some low 11's or maybe mid 10's after I build the motor for more boost. That'll probably be a nice stopping point

I'm putting in a Fat Shaft 48RE into my CTD Dodge. They're good for 3,000 tq and the Dodge/Cummins guys swear by them.

Man I did a 4l80e in my truck it did not take long at all just a day to swap every thing and if u don't want to swap ur flywheel edge makes a stall that fits a 80 and takes a 60 flywheel but I think u should do the 80 flywheel because it's a 6 bolt flywheel where a 60 is a 3 bolt

X4. A Jake's stage 4 should get you to 1500fwhp. As soon as some billet overdrive carriers are made, I bet they could hold 2000.

thier are VK-56's out there right now with twin turbo's with 40-46psi on stock crank and stock heads with over 1,500rwhp.. true they arent on the dragstrip but they are on sand rails out in arizona in the desert.. The VK56 motor is a badmofo
The 4L80 is tough but not that tough.
A "stock shift kitted" unit will live at the 750-800 HP level IF its in good shape to start with.
Above that the trans will need some hard parts upgrades and more hydraulic mods.
For 1300 hp you will need a serious build.

Good luck.

I've decided to go with Jakes Performance with my build.. They have awesome pricing, they are local to me and willing to do all the fabrication to make this retrofit work in my vehicle.. I simply can't wait to get started but have to wait till after christmas.. Will be getting the stage 4 trans that should hold a estimated 1,400rwhp along with optishift standalone computer to control it for barely $5,000 Installed!! Hell i've paid $5,800 bucks for a shitty jatco transmission builds 3 times already and $4,200 once.. God i'm so looking forward to being rid of this nightmare of blowing transmissions

I know all the money i've spent on the previous 4 trans could've bought me the best "built" motor known to man kind, lol

with the money i'm saving from using Jakes performance for the trans I might have to give Hogan's Manifold's a call and get a custom aluminum manifold built.. the stock manifold on my truck is holding me back immensly by 40-65 rwhp the runners on the stock intake are way way too tall, which is good for low end torque but blow ***** after 5500 rpm's
