Hey Quik, what gauge of metal or how thick was each plate? I'll have to wait until you make a couple hard passes for your feedback on if your plates distorted or not
i believe the plate was 3/8ths, ill find out forsure when i speak with the guy that did them for me. im positive they wont distort

with big camm'd motors the motors rock like crazy, also hard launching vehicles will twist on launches and can rip rubber mounts apart. also it puts more power down to the wheels instead of wasting it moving the motor side to side. downfall is its not for everyone

run just the torque strap, or the strap and solid mounts

just torque strap you wouldnt need the strap with solid mounts. but the strap allows for more user friendly setup

i went solids cause of side of cam and 6speed

im leanin more towards the solid mounts..i would like the truck to shake at the stop lights..its nothing that would bother me..im used to solid mounts since my racecar has them..and it shakes a little more than my truck would

im just alittle leary about the solids and frame twisiting since our frames arent teh strongest things in the world..... i guess ill find out if i ever plant my power
