Default Some transmission questions

How much crank hp can a stock 4l60e hold?
Who offers good rebuild kits that will allow up to 600 crank hp? how much?
How much should I expect to pay for a 4l60e from a salvage yard?
Thanks BF

need to research some..

Check FLT, they have a Level 7 that should do the trick. but if your plannin on making alot of power dont expect it to last too long.

Probably better off posting in the drivetrain section instead of the Engine section too...

Check FLT... their 4L6xE trans would hold that. You'll also get suggestions/posts about considering the 80E. Up to you though.

Either the FLT Lv7 or a 4L80e. FLT FTW
