Default Spooling help

Guys the day wasn't great but good. Track was bad in places, had to lift on some 10.9 runs But good part is truck ran great. Bad part is truck need a Trans brake leaving on 0 to 2lb of boost. Truck is pushing in the lights and can't build boost. Crazy thing is on the street I've got 5lb before. I need to get the launch thing worked out. Ok best 60ft was 1.79 7.04 and 103.75 and 10.60 at 134 mph On one run I ran 7.24 and 104.87 but had the lift. If I can build boost and pull all the parts working right the truck would run low 10..... Guys this truck haul *** it pull so hard after the 330ft. Trans is 4l80 ,3.42 gearing and 402ci with GT5594 and 1.25ar. Looking to get a trans brake and a 2step or hydro boost with a 2step. Guys will the trans kill the tires??? Tires are 28/10/17.

A 2 step would make a big difference.

I ordered a 2step to see if I can hold the truck and build boost. Then see what to get next Trans brake or hydroboost

I did some logging on the truck today and I can foot brake boost up to 4lb before it spin up the rear tires. Rpm before spinning the tires 3950rpm. Ordered the 2step today. I'm still on the fence about transbrake or hydroboost. Someone got the have some R&D on this.

IMHO not enough gear for that weight of truck, gear would also help the 60'

we went from 373 to 355 and on the foot brake we went from 1.50 to 1.58, less gear takes away mechanical advantage which is needed for 60' and up to 330 mark...will also help you charge more on the big end with a heavy *** truck

Yes, I have though about the gear. But I have more important stuff to fix first. I'm going to try the Sy Ty shuffle. I did it by mistake and that was my best run.

Go ahead and do the hydroboost, its not a hard swap and well worth it.
