You got a link for them, and are you talking about the front or rear? A shackle drop is for the rear. If you drop the front 2.5 in. you will have to get an alignment, but if you're dropping the rear it won't affect the alignment at all.

Like mentioned above, shackles consist only for the rear! With any drop, lift a front alignment is greatly needed. I belive any spring is pretty safe just make sure they dont have a bad rep! If you get that 2.5in front drop you'll need to drop the rear so it can level out! Otherwise it'll look really retarded!

I wanna even out the rake of the truck so I wanna bring the front UP! not put a shackle drop on to lower the truck. Come on it's a truck not a lowrider. I want the same stance as the SS Silverado. The SS is bacically a z71 w/ a 2/4 drop that makes it sit just a little higher than a 2wd. The back fender lips height is at 35" and the front sits at 32" I just want 35"/35" ( these measurements are on the bald tires) I'm buying new tires next week, the firestone indy 500's size 265/70/16 (black wall out).

Oh, ok. In that case, just get you a set of lift spindles. Its the easiest way to get the front up 3 in. without a problem. Using 3 in. lift springs would cause major camber problems and would probably be hard to align; you'd have to get new upper control arms to help get everything back straight. Rough Country makes a lift spindle for the 2wd at about $259 or so. There are some other companies that do too, but thats the best deal I know of.

just level the rear out. it will still ride like stock and look a ton better than lifting the front to match. also alot easier and cheaper

Ohhh,ok!!! You wanna lift it a little so it can match the rear,I see! I agree with Mr.Fogle there, you'lle be better out leveling the rear IMO also. It would be less expensive and it'll look just right. Not to low and not to high.

But if you wanna do it the other way go with Stroker's advice! That'll make the truck look more taller! Thanks.
