Question Squeal coming from tail of 2006 4l60e 2wd

What could this be? The squeal occurs in drive only and when under slight load only, such as accellerating normally. The squeal gets faster proportionally as speed increases. The truck shifts and drives fine. Is there a bearing or something in the tail that is about to fail? Can this be fixed without pulling the whole tranny? Thanks for any replies.

carrier bearing on driveshaft? it would be easy to rule out
i think they are more prone to clunking noises.

I disconnected the DS from the differential and am 100% sure it is coming from the tailhousing area of the transmission. Any ideas?

Put some grease on the lip of the extension housing seal. Lemme know how that helps. Should take care of it.

I forgot to say, pull the driveshaft. The grease has to go on the sealing surface lip of the seal.

Kind of a back-and-forth squeaking. Like noisy bedsprings being "overworked".

Some of the 06-07 models had problems with the speed sensor rubbing on the reluctor wheel. It would make a high pitched whine noise. You can removed the sensor to see if it goes away.
