Default Ss3600

Who here runs it? I'm going to be ordering one here in about a week or so. How does it act behind your motor/truck combo? (please specify) Would you recommend it? What are its street manners like? and how does lockup feel?

it will be going behind my '00 5.3/FLT-5/4.10's, my cam is a 224/227 113+3, and a 150 shot. I want more than a 3200 converter.

I had a 3800 fuddle behind my 224 6.0L and it really felt like way too much stall. Street manners really sucked compared to my 3200, and it had nothing on the big end mph. I would probably keep it in the 32-3400 range.
For the record, though, it did feel good on the gas, but I just drove it too much on the street to justify going that big.

The Yanks are notorious for being tighter than most converters so I'm kind of using that to guage my driveability... I know its going to be a lot of stall but hopefully, it wont be too much... the STR is 2.5 on this converter... so it should hit pretty hard.

Yeah, that is true. The Fuddles are really loose converters. I hope action jackson gets the yank so I can actually ride in a truck with one. The fuddle 3800 used to flash over 5000.....try hooking that on crappy tires.
Good luck with the purchase and let me know how you like it. I've been with tci, fuddle(twice),and I'm unsure on what my next one will be down the line. Probably give the yank a try on my next setup.

on my 5.3, I ordered a 3200 fuddle, and it would flash to 3300-3400, and it was a very streetable stall, you could barely notice it was there... (this is on a 2.2STR).. and it would only stall to 2600-2700rpm... now that I installed the 6.0 it flashes @3900-4000rpm... and it is still very very streetable.... I havent tried stalling it though, but all in all Im very happy with the fuddle..

I'm definately pleased with the 3200. It's perfect for my motor/cam selection. The 3800=too much for my puny setup

I need a little more converter I guess... I'm making a run at AP's fastest ECSB 5.3 record when the track opens up here in a couple weeks.
