with a 231/239 111 LSA cam and less cubes (5.7) i was running a 3600 converter. 1.68 60' N/A in an ecsb....

i think the 4k would be overkill for this setup.

The 4k will 60' alot better and will already be there incase you want to go bigger on the cam in the future.

Both good choices, I would think the 4000 would work well with your set-up.

Everyone's set up is different, with proper traction and suspension tweaking the 4000.

I've had them both in a reg cab 6.0 224 cam, and the 4000 was faster by a tenth or 2, and cut better 60's. get the 4000 especially since its a weekend driver.

Your old truck was a converter *****... How many did you end up swaping in/out in that thing?

id get the 4000...but you do need a bigger cam..that cam is a 5.3 cam ..get like the hellraiser cam its a 230-236 its a proven low 12 second n/a cam on a single cab...or just get a custom grind cam for that stall and set up you got
