Default SSBC Force 10 3-piston

Been looking at the SSBC force 10 3-piston brake kit. The one that uses the stock size rotors.

Just wondering if this brake kit can be used with the stock size pads.

the kit's part number: A126-39

But what about when you want to buy replacement pads. Would I be able to go to autozone or napa and buy some stock size pads for replacement???

Yes and no to your question. You can't buy OEM truck pads but you would be able to buy pads at those places if you would like. I can't remember what the part # is but it does fit another OEM application. The Force 10's use Hawk pads if I remember correctly. Why would you want to replace the pads with an inferior part? I use Hawks on all my vehicles and they work GREAT. I would highly recommend them and the price is not much more (if not the same as) than any other quality brand of brake pad. Stay with the Hawks!

I do not believe they are stock dia. rotors I believe they are 14" dia vs. 12.8-13.0,and the oem vehicle supplied pads are from C-4,C-5 corvette's.

Just wanted to know if replacement pads for that kit was readily available. I wouldn't use cheap pads. I had some Autozone Duralast Gold on my old 98 Blazer and the would start to lose grip once the got hot, really scary going downhill on curvy roads. Never buys those pieces of crap. . .

i have a set of the 4 piston force 10 brakes....they use mitsu 3000gt vr4 pads. i would assume that the 3 piston calipers use a readily available pad as well.

and yes, the 3 piston kits are available for stock and 14" rotors. nice if you want to run 16's at the track.

my brakes are for sale if anyone wants them...cheap!!
