Did you get speed sensors for the 2008-2009 or for a 2006? Its possible that even though the connectors plug right up that the sensors are different. Although the fact that they are reading according to the scanner makes that seem more unlikely.
The sensors are for the 08-09, they are completely different, smaller. What doesn't make sense is the light came on before the truck even moved.

That's a pretty tell tail sign of it being electrical related. I'm guessing you've tried to clear the codes if not I'd try that.

Sounds to me the GMT900 sensors are different than the GMT800. I'm not much help in clearing that up but hopefully someone smart will chime in.

I tried looking up the other threads and no one else said anything about.
On a side note, I tried to do burnout and wouldn't even break the tires loose, reached 8lbs of boost. Before it would light them up no problem. Wtf?!

Maybe the rotors are still to big for the splash shield even tho you grinded them. I know in my Tahoe if I don't pull the abs fuse it's very difficult to do a burnout.

I turn the rotors down in a lathe so I could use the nbs calipers.
I was thinking abs turned off, the braking split is equal front and rear, instead of a front vs rear bias.
One thing after another with this thing

Does the ECU retard timing or kill spark at 3k rpm with stabilitrak light on? Noticed driving today that once 3k rpm hits, the motor starts missing, it is very audible and does it at exactly 3k rpm and above. This is under boost btw. The truck has a brand new flex fuel AC Delco pump, other than that, the only thing that was changed has been the rear end,

Well the RPM transmission pump broke again. This time I had the tranny pulled and put back in by a shop. I sent the convertor and tranny to rpm. Rpm confirmed that 1/8 to 3/16 washers were needed for convertor pullback. When I got the tranny back I tig tacked 1/8 washers to the convertor to ease install. What the hell is going on? I installed it the first time and it broke, the second time a shop.

If I recall you had some drivetrain issues before this as well

I would get the truck in the air and check everything for binding, brake dragging, check angles and check the t case and make sure it's not binding the trans

I can't help with the ST thing, unless you put the old sensors on the new axle, I'm not sure you're gonna solve it without getting hexadecimal programming in the CAN system

Sure did!! Second time the pump has broke. Less than 50 miles this time. I had a shop do it this time, I got tired of crawling around the floor.

I agree something must be binding or dragging. I bet its not to terribly hard to get the 06 sensors to fit the new axle.
