Default stall bolts?

Getting ready to put my stall in this weekend, so im gathering parts. Bought some new converter bolts from my wifes work...come home to find out they wont thread into the stall. What gives? Im not sure what brand stall it is, if that matters. Wag it into a hardware store and find some? How long should they be? Thanks guys

It is probably a metric thread, 10 X 1.5. Length depends on the style of converter. Do you know anything about the converter?

can u take your converter to a parts store and get some bolts that match the threads? U need grade 8 bolts. Make sure they bottom out without hitting the converter it self. They will back out if they do.

Good advice... And on a metric bolt you are looking for 10.9 grade. Some will say 8.8, but they are actually closer to a grade 5 bolt.

Mine bottomed out and needed to be something like 12mm or 15mm long. grade 10.9 10x1.5 is right.
