Default Stall rates?

I know there has to be somewhere that would suggest what stall speed would be more effiecent with certian Power Adders... Cant find anything..

My Delima... Stock TB Converter ~$250 (should stall up to ~2800 with STS)
Yank TT2600 ~$475
Yank TT3000 ~$575

um.... that seems to be my choices.....

Truck goin to be used as a truck.. Towing, hauling, DD and racing.
Yank says

"The oversized lock-up clutch of the Truck Thruster 2600 will allow you to maintain the full towing capability intended by your OEM torque converter. "

PI Viglant Series, Said that its possible to tow, but they wont recommend it..
They are out the window...

So is Yank acctually worth the extra ~$225-325???

ive heard that with much power, the TB converter fails on most cases

a 24-2600 converter is good for a twin screw/radix blower
and a 2800-3000 is good for turbo or centrifugal blower
and a 2800-up is good for NA apps

I run a PI triple disk and I tow about 5.000lbs about once a month sometimes for a couple thousand miles per trip. I've got 45K on it now and it is the same as when new. I have some standard bolt-ons but nothing serious and I thrash my truck semi-regularly. I have been very happy with PI.

I would look at one of the billet converters for FI applications. You'll pay more now but less later
