very general and unproven statement...
My Z went quicker with a Yank 3200 than with a Vig 4000 all mods were the same, suspension etc the same, weather conditions were actually better with the Vig in there (much cooler) and the same track... now, on the street was a different story... some reason the bigger verter was wicked on the street but didn't run as well on the 660'...

you have a point to some degree getonit... however I've seen some of the quickest trucks with smaller converters... there is so much more to it than just the converter to get it to 60' good... problem with the trucks is the lack of adjustability in the suspension... that's a big killer... The Z ran from a 20 roll 10000% harder with the 4200 than the 3200... I wish I had put this big converter in my old RCSB and ran it, I know it would have been sick, I'm pretty sure I'll love the SS3600 in my crewcab, its just such a heavy bitch...
