Ride Height:

diff angle.....................93*....................9 2*.................90*
rear d/s angle...............98*....................96*.... .............96*

trans angle...................95*....................93. 5*

pinion angle w/caltracs loaded -5* (diff 3* up)
pinion angle w/caltracs unloaded -4* (diff 2* up)

new pinion angle -6* (diff 0* up/down)

Thanks bro, looks like I could count on about 1.5" drop with the 1500 springs, good to know......Now I need to figure out how to notch this thing. This truck has the most complex looking frame shape I've ever delt with. Otherwise it would allready be lower.

Question

Nice Grippy. What is so unique about the Velvet ride shackles??? I can see they look different, but what are the differences in the ride over a customary shackle?

The proof will be in the pudding (or so they say) (but who are they?) and I hope it works the way you plan it to.

Looks like you might be able to benefit from a 2* shim back there.
