It will cost them $$$$ and they dont make the 800's anymore. its all about the 900's now.

The fix is simple... Get good at lubing them cause the design sux

I wonder if I could tig weld a grease fitting on the shaft?

summit sells a borgeson unit thats supposed to fix it, otherwise keep lubing and stroking your shafts lmao!

Why tig weld a grease zerk. just drill and tap one in......

why don't you try this and if it works let me know. hell do a write up on it. then we will all do lol. i'm game. how much is the fitting and where would be a good place to put it?

To mount it flush so as not to disturb its ability to go in and out freely .

just use on only so deep. I know we have at least a dozen different sized zerks here at work............probably more. I will do a write up on it. Only, I dont think I'll be crawling under my dash to install it in the cold, so I'll use one of the hundreds of cores we have here to do it.....
