ANOTHER NEW UPDATE - good news this time.....
DESCRIPTION:
This information bulletin refers to revisions to the service procedure found in Technical Service Bulletin 00-02-35-003K for Full-Size Truck Intermediate I-Shaft. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 00-02-35-003K (Section 02 – Steering).
EFFECTIVE DATE:
Revision is effective immediately.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
The revised service procedure eliminates the necessity to remove the I-Shaft and apply the lube to the I-Shaft. While GMSPO is in the process of canceling the Full-Size Truck lube kit, part number 26098419, Dealers can continue to utilize their in store inventory of lube kits until their supply is exhausted.
Refer to TSB #00-02-35-003L for the complete revised service procedure.
GMSPO realizes that this is only a temporary fix and plans to release a more permanent fix by mid-February 2007. GMSPO appreciates your patience in this matter.
