The intermediate shaft issue is such bullshit IMO. I've owned four NBS, all of them have had it. Current truck had it at 15k, replaced with new shaft design. It's back at 22k.

My truck is still under warranty, but may just cough up the $ for this and be done with it:

That tells you how up to date they stay on things. The TSB has been out for quite some time and its been revised some 7-8 times. It's a very popular problem.

I think after the dealer trys to fix the problem once their way and fails, they should have to pay for this out of there pocket to fix it right. I didnt buy a brand new truck to get problems and for the price these trucks cost, we shouldnt have any!

Hmm, I wonder if this will work on a 2wd and if it will clear ASM headers.

my 03 has a popping noise but I don't feel anything in the wheel could this be the problem??????

i just fixed this myself the other day. only problem i had was i couldnt get a regular socket wrench on the bolt inside the cab, had to use 2 doubled up wrenches to loosen it and guessed on how tight it should be afterward. i couldnt believe the difference it made, a must do!

it will be the same as stock, the knuckle part is in the cab.

no i fixed mine with the lube kit. if i could afford that shaft i would buy it.
