The intermediate shaft issue is such bullshit IMO. I've owned four NBS, all of them have had it. Current truck had it at 15k, replaced with new shaft design. It's back at 22k.
My truck is still under warranty, but may just cough up the $ for this and be done with it:

i just fixed this myself the other day. only problem i had was i couldnt get a regular socket wrench on the bolt inside the cab, had to use 2 doubled up wrenches to loosen it and guessed on how tight it should be afterward. i couldnt believe the difference it made, a must do!
