stock 4.8 278mm circle d stall,do I need a tune?
Hey guys, quicky, truck is a stock 4.8(for now) 4l60e..I going to be installing a 278mm circle d stall, vette servo and transgo hd2 Kit very soon.my question is do I need a tune for just the above mods.ill be installing a 220cam,long tubes and a tune later on.I just wanted to do the Tranny end of it first.truck is a rcsb flarsside 2wd,weekend cruiser never tows.I just want to make sure the truck is going to be drivable without hurting the Tranny or stall before a tune..does anyone know?

I ran that converter without a tune and you will definitely want a tune, I had my tuned PCM already and it is a must for it to behave correctly. Most of the sponsors offer free retunes so that it is not really an extra expense just the initial cash outlay and well worth it.
