Stock 4l60e flexplate, how strong?

Got it! Questions...

The stock flexplate bows out to meet the converter and engage the starter. This one is flat. How the hell will it work? Won't it not engage the starter?

Also, what's the metal collar for?

Is that a 4l 80 or 4l60 pattern plate???

Holes will line up for a 4l60e coverter, not a 4l80e.

I have a modded converter with the 4l60e pattern.
