Default Summit Big Brakes?

Anyone using Summit's big brake kit?
05 Silvy front Summit Racing SUM-BK1425 - Summit Racing® Big Rotor Upgrade Kits - Overview - SummitRacing.com
05 Silvy rear: Summit Racing SUM-BK1426 - Summit Racing® Big Rotor Upgrade Kits - Overview - SummitRacing.com
99-02 Silvy front and rear: Summit Racing SUM-BK1423 - Summit Racing® Big Rotor Upgrade Kits - Overview - SummitRacing.com
05 Suburban #1: Summit Racing SUM-BK1424 - Summit Racing® Big Rotor Upgrade Kits - Overview - SummitRacing.com
05 Suburban #2: Summit Racing SUM-BK1422 - Summit Racing® Big Rotor Upgrade Kits - Overview - SummitRacing.com

All of these kits come with 14" rotors in the front and rear. My first question is, does anyone have experience with these kits from Summit?

My second question, if I want to upgrade to '05 front calipers and dual piston rear calipers, should I go with the Suburban kit? What's the difference between the two Suburban kits? One says specifically its for 2 piston rear calipers. The other doesn't say this but the picture shows a dual piston rear caliper bracket.

Thanks!

Hmm, interested if anyone has as well. Looks real similar to the powerslot kit, which appears to be discontinued. Like that they are slotted and not drilled like the baer kits

I'm a little confused, if this kit uses the factory sized pads, what's the difference whether is a 12 or 14" rotor?

If the force is applied on the outside of a larger diameter rotor it will apply more braking torque. Larger rotors with everything else equal will improve braking.

I see. Should dissipate heat better too, right?

I believe not all suburbans had the dual piston rear calipers. Some only had single piston like the trucks.

Anyone know if one of the listed 05 Suburban kits will fit an '01 Silverado, assuming I get the 05 calipers?

Bringing this thread back. I pulled the rear rotors today to do a gear/diff swap and the rotors are trashed.

I'm looking to do the 14" front and rear rotors, with the '05 front calipers and Suburban dual piston rear calipers. Would this kit work: Summit Racing SUM-BK1424 - Summit Racing® Big Rotor Upgrade Kits - Overview - SummitRacing.com This kit is listed for Suburbans, Escalades, and Yukons.
