Default Swapping to a LS1 style intake ?

I read somewhere, just can't remember where, that you can use the stock 6L injectors (42lb/hr) on a LS1 style intake. Just can't remember where I read it or what needed to be done.

Can anyone help?

i tink you have to trim the little plastic pieces at the bottom of the injector and use an o-ring set from an F-Body

On your injectors it should be black, but the yellow cap at the left of this picture is the pintle cap and it needs to be removed.

are you actually swapping to the LS1 intake? ive been told that it is not worth it unless you stepup to the LS6 intake... infact the truck manifold flows better than the LS1 intake. jfyi

Is the LS6 intake worth it and if so by how much power? Would a retune be needed?

just use ls1 injectors..you can buy them fairly cheap..just change the pigtails..if you cant change the pigtails you dont need to be modding your truck
