Hollow ones are lighter and they can be made to work. In a race car, a hollow one would be used. The difference is that a good hollow one needs to be made of higher quality steel than a solid one, and being more stressed than a solid one of the same anti-roll stiffness, it will probably not last as long.

i have hotckis anti sways on my truck imo they are very nice . the bracket that bolt to them frame are nice quality and pretty easy on install. they are hollow and a large diamter.
i dont have any pics right now but they face the oppostie ways most do , they bolt to the frame in front of the rear axle where as most other bolt to the crossmember in the rear. mine are setup with caltracs and dropped 3" in the rear with no problems. the only thing is if you have a rear girdle you need the low pro one.

I found a company that makes huge ones 1 3/8" that are solid. With a dmax in the front I would think I need some beefy ones. If weights not an issue will huge solid ones work better?
