I have been running that clutch in my truck(t56) for over 20,000mi and never a hiccup. Good luck indexing the new bellhousing,If it's not within .005 you must install offset indexing pins on the block. I tried 2 different housings and gave up, sent them back and put the stocker back on. Do a search on tech, they are not a bolt on affair.

So you used the stock T56 bellhousing on an LQ9? And that's the same bellhousing (LQ9) used on the LQ4 and the LM7 as well right?

You mean flywheel,if so I used an LS1 unit and ordered ARP bolts for the clutch also. Dont forget the input shaft bushing that goes in the crank. The bellhousing will bolt to any LS motor the only LS you coulndnt put a t56 behind would be early lq4's and some early 4.8's that had the longer crank snout.
