Shouldn't have to pull the trans to do that I don't think. Isn't it a quick connect style fitting? Can't you just slide the tool in there and yank on the hyd line? I'm not pullin' the trans just for that. This'll have to wait 'til the next time the clutch needs to be replaced.

FYI - anybody that is planning on the drill mod or is gonna replace a slave. from what i have seen the fbody slave and the truck slave are the same, except for the fact that the truck slave is all plastic and the fbody slave is metal.
if im wrong on this someone please correct me.

oh, yea. i forgot about that. in order to use the better fbody slave you have to remove the quick connect so you can use your truck hyduralic line.

Also here is a new slave I have I'm assuming the roll pin is the one holding the braided line into the plastic, and the small holes are in the plastic housing.
I also believe the McLeod makes better/stronger master and slave cylinders for these trucks.
