just reading through....i have about 60k on my 02' truck and it still has the stock five speed trans and clutch..the truck its a full bolt on with the radix,3.73's and trutrak...i have had slicks on it at the track and have made well over 10 passes leaving the line at 3800..i have beat and abused this truck alot and have had absolutly no probs with the trans..it makes wierd noises through the Hurst shifter but performs every task i have thrown at it..but i have bought a t56 to take its place...im sure i will like it much better

cccharged, youll probably need to step up the gear in the rear to 4.56 at minimum, if you have larger than stock tires on the truck. i had 3.73s with 32" tall tire and it was ok to drive, but got my *** whooped off the line all the time. i put 4.56 gears in and it was a huge difference, and it only raised my rpms up 300rpms in every gear. but all in all youll love the 6-speed.
