There is a HUGE thread about this swap. But you have to have the clutch pedal, 5-speed transmission crossmember, i believe your driveshaft will work, LS2 flywheel with LS7 clutch seems to be the most used combo, slave cylinder, correct pilot bearing in the crank, then a new hole in your floorboard . Also a full center console can be installed and will work great with the shifter being right beside the cup holder. If you stay auto let me know, if you have a working t-56 for a good price, i might be able to take it off your hands.

Just keep your eyes open. I found a good core for $200 on craigslist last year. Of coarse it was before I started shopping for them and by the time I found out what they go for it was sold

Theres a Transmission company called Kaiser or Keisler that has whole kits for the T-56 or Richmond 5 or 6 speeds.

I see them all the time in Car-Craft Magazine.

Do any of you guys know how disable the computer functions for the Automatic when you switch to a manual? I'm looking at HP-Tuners program so can it accomplish this? Or do they have a dummy plug to fool the computer?

I lost my keys once and I had two options; ask the wife where they were or get up and search for them...this is what I found!

Tuning with EFI Live or HP tuners can take care of this.
