If you plan on future mods(cam, heads, etc.), I would seriously consider holding out for the fuddle. I think you'll make the same mistake I made and go with too small of a stall size and wish you would have went larger. Just my .02. I have an LQ4 6.0L with cam/heads and the TCI 3000(which I think is taking a crap).

yanks doing a GP on theirs now so you might wanna PM yank. I think they saved me about 120bucks shipped on a TT3000.. oh and its supposed to ship in 3-4 days
The fuddle was gonna take atleast 2weeks to build which would probably end up being 3-4 weeks before I get it
oh and the ls1 in the 04 vette is the same thing in the camaros:-P just like the ws6's were rated 325hp over the plain TA's cause of the ram air lol. They didnt make to different motors for the cars:-P GM likes to raise their numbers on their flagship cars

98TAauto: Acctually they did make 2 diff. engines. Normal LS-1 has the connecting rods stamped to the pins. My engine has free floating pistons, which rods are not stamped on the pins, which means less friction and easier rotation. Also, head bolts are different. The bolts have been revised, the 8 long bolts are now the same size as the 2 shorter ones.
