Default TCI Converter Question

How many out there are using a TCI torque converter? Looking at both Yank and TCI for my choice, but am stuck on making a decision. Called both of them and asked for specs and what type of components are used inside. TCI was not very helpful, and Yank seems a little higher in price. So if anyone can shed some light on this, give your experience with TCI converter, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

I am really impressed with my TCI, and if you go into the other transmission forum you will see im not alone. Theyre really good convertors, especially for the price.

Then you must not be looking too close whistlin. There have been a quite a few people that have had problems with their yank, although from what I can tell they have gotten a lot better lately.

I was in the same situation that you were in, I was also stuck between yank, PI and TCI. Yank along with PI are probley one of the best that people recomend on this site. Nobody has either complained about about TCI and everyone that I asked said they are good converters. I am going to go with TCI myself and the only reason is the price. I figure I can also buy a shift kit some billet servos have some money left over to watch a movie and still not reach the price of the Yank. Good luck.
