TCI shift kit now "No Reverse"
I obviously did something wrong. It was one of those days that I put everything in two or three times before I got it right. The instuctions that came with the kit werent exactly the same transmission. My truck is a 04 w/4l60E 2wd. The items mentioned in this linke are the only things I messed with. What of these valves could mess up the reverse? http://www.tciauto.com/Products/Inst...76001_inst.htm
for me figure 6 "1-2 accumulator" doesnt have a washer and has a piece that sticks out a bit kinda looks like a half moon but the inside comes to a point.

Are you talking about the accumulator piston housing or the accumulator valve and sleeve? By the way your link does not work for me. A no reverse condition is usually the plate on the back of the valve body is loose or the manual valve is not properly connected. I have never used that kit. If there is a way for you to post the directions I will take a look at them to see if anything else comes to mind. Vince

I do remember putting the "V" the wrong way now that you say that. But that wouldnt cause a no reverse you say. And another thing does the pin go through the hole?
