Two other things to check would be to make sure that you have the "Three (3)…....2-1/8"…...8mm………E" bolts installed in the correct locations. Also make sure that the boost valve sleeve is fully installed with the snap ring in it's groove. This will create a huge leak. Also double check the advise in my first post in this thread.
I think I should have specified the delivery destination!

If the pan doesn't have a drain plug you can use refigerator icemaker tubing (clear plastic) as a siphon down the dipstick tube to remove some fluid. You can't get it all this way because there's a little plate in there that the dipstick normaly bottoms out to but you can get enough out to prevent the fluid from cascading over the side of the pan when you loosen it. You can easily re-use the ATF this way since you probably just spent a small fortune on it.
I've seen the condition you speak of when the manual valve linkage wasn't reconnected before bolting in the valve body. Vince already mentioned this. Unfortuately you'd have have to unbolt the valvebody to reconnect that if that's what the issue is.
