well took it apart today and found some loose bolts. Now theres a wierd noise when it shifts to 2nd. Kinda sounds like a blow off valve. This cant be good right?

Hate to tell you this but that can be caused by reinstalling the bolts in the wrong places. There are four different bolt lengths used in the valve body and all bolts must go back to the correct locations. The TransGo instructions include a diagram for this if you do not have an ATSG Manual.

The original poster is installing a TCI kit which I believe is a kit made by Superior. He did provide a link for the directions from TCI. As James mentioned might double check that. Which bolts did you find loose? The noise might be some air in the oil causing aeration in the pump. Just a thought. Vince

Thanks Vince youve been a big help. I found the 3x 8mm bolts loose(2 of them anyways). I found the noise and your gonna laugh at me but its cool. The noise sounded different on different turfs and with different windows open. It was the wheels slightly chirping.

LOL every noise you hear now is going to be trans related. The loose bolts is a common mistake that is why I mentioned it. Chalk it up as a learning experience. Vince
