My vote would be a Yank TT. They are larger converters that are designed with towing in mind. However, if you do not tow, you are still a large vehicle trying move some large tires.

Did you ever decide on a cam?

Look, you get what you pay for. Maybe it's not wise to pay the most but to pay the least will end up costing you more than the most so buy QUALITY.

QUALITY has a cost. Parts and the labor it takes from a human to produce the product.

DON'T ever cheap out on parts. We are talking about modifying our vehicles here. My life depends on the parts and labor that goes into the parts I swap out. My life is worth more than a few measly bucks...well to me.

Yank makes a great product. So does PI (Vigilante). Save the cash until you can afford a converter that wont leave you paying for a new transmission later.

enough said!

I've had great luck with a PI 2400 on a towing vehicle. Put 60K+ on it with a few cross country trips towing a 6000lb trailer. No trans heating up and no issues whatsoever. This on an FLT trans.
