Should be doable in a weekend...

Another Yank vote here... I've had both and I've ran this same converter on motor, nitrous and now with boost and can't imagine anything better than this

are you 2wd or 4wd?

I got so good at pulling my transmission out... i could do it in 20 minutes. So if that gives you an idea at what the cheap torque converters get you

Its not hard at all if you 2wd..

Oh and if you wanna save time, get you some ARP toque converter bolts... Saves a serious headache with them crappy stock bolts..

I only put 4 bolts back in my bell housing.. one on top and one on bottom of each dowel pin..

I have 5 in my 4L80E cause i needed something to zip tie my transmission lines too

I would also go with Yank.

I've also heard people say that Yank and PI converters are very similar but I think the PI converters cost a little more than the Yank converters. FWIW, almost everyone I know that has a converter either has Yank or PI.

after my recent converter problem that turned in to a transmission problem all in one day and 350 miles. I was wondering.
If i'm easy on the truck, how long do you think my TCI3000 will hold up in my ECSB?
I am strapped on cash after missing a lot of work do to spasm issues. It's going to take me some time to come up with enough dough to refresh the FLT and the only other verter i have is a TCI.
I plan on going to YANK but can't afford it right now.

Of the known breakage, did most of them break from extensive stall take offs and hard track runs? or Equally while cruising?

I have personal experiance with 6 yank converters. All of which have been trouble free and solid performers.

Very impressed with YANK and Happy to support them!
