I am strapped on cash after missing a lot of work do to spasm issues. It's going to take me some time to come up with enough dough to refresh the FLT and the only other verter i have is a TCI.
I plan on going to YANK but can't afford it right now.

Of the known breakage, did most of them break from extensive stall take offs and hard track runs? or Equally while cruising?
Go easy on it and it should hold up a long while but like anything....a lot of people run TCI without problems, I mean they sell them everywhere, just aren't up to the same standard that we demand around here.

Yank

I've had my yank tt3000 in for 3 1/2 years now with no problems what so ever and I give it hell too!

Drive so tight in everyday driving it's great, don't even hardly realize that you have a stall that's why I am stepping up to a SS3600

One important fact no one is mentioning is you need to consider your mods and your future plans...If FI is in the future IMO you should really only consider a billet TC...The Yank TT convereters are the best for the money but are not billet and may not hold up very long under high HP applications and PI has a great record as well but are about 300 bucks more...IMO if your looking at adding a bunch of horses pick out a converter that you wont have to change out .....I run a TCS converter and absolutley love it. ran a YANK until recently and if I wasnt FI i'd still be running my YANK TT2600

well what is so great about running a 3000 stall? i see other people runing 2600 and 2800, whats the bigg difference? and whats the advantage of running a 3000? when income tax money comes im puting a cam in , geting a tune, and the converter. still trying to figure out the best cam to get, i want one with good power throughout the whole rpm range , wasnt wanting a stock idle but right now im more worried bout the power. ALSO can i run the stock heads with a cam?????

the stall u get depends on how big of cam u get...a bigger cam is gonna want more stall....like i am getting the TSP 224 cam and a yank 3200....i think the least you could go with the 224 is a 3000?? if you get the 220 cam you could run a lower stall...but you could get more out of the cam by going with a bigger verter....theres ppl that go with the 220 and a 3400-3600 stall and get some sick results...depends on what you want really....

and about the stock heads....yes to a certain extent....if you get a cam package from texas speed it comes with cam, springs and pushrods...everything you need ......

hope this helped
