thank you man! Awesome info.

Is there a carrier split? Like the common 4.10/4.56 we are familiar with but for the new 12bolt?

I do not know if there is split. If there is, I don't think it matters as long as you are using an after market diff. The TT I installed will work with 3.42 down to 5.38 on the old axles, and should do the same for the newer ones.

Curious about the Axle shafts.

1.What is the spline count?

2.Do you know what the axle bearing journal is? I am curious if it's a standard 10 bolt axle bearing like on the hybrid AXN 9.5 14 bolt rear end.

Any info now or in the future would be great. Thanks!

You know, I had the shafts out of the truck, and I thought about measuring the journal and didn't. I know the spline count is 33 just like the typical 14SF..... Let me see what I can find out.

Did some checking. According to fme-cat.com (awesome site btw), the 2014 9.5" uses bearing 513067 which is the same as found in the AXN 14 bolts, and 10 bolts. Bearing bore is 1.612"

The big bearing 14 bolt uses bearing R-1561-TV. Bearing bore is 1.7055".

Awesome! Thanks for the info. Do you recall the spline count for the locker?

Does it use the same locker for an old truck 12 bolt or are the new ones different?

The locker I used was for the 14SF.

Yup. Bastard. I used a 14SF master install kit however so the carrier bearings and pinion bearings are similar.

Like said though, it appears the FACTORY inner pinion bearing is different than what is in the install kit. To be safe, the set up bearings should match what is in the install kit as the bearing/race stack-up of the factory bearing may be different.
