is there a way for me to run my allwheel drive truck on rear wheel dyno

i heard there might be something a can detach or is it not worth my time and drive the extra distance to and allwheel dyno thanks

well there used to be a theory from the SS guys that removing your front driveshaft would work, but some of those guys started ******* up their trucks. I would drive the extra distance. It's too much of a chance just for some pretty numbers.

guessing you have a syclone you could do as mentioned above but with a viscous coupling sytle transfer case it can mess some things up. but with your wheel base find an awd dyno shouldnt be as hard as us ss guys with the huge wheelbase.

His sig says GMC C3, they were offered with AWD as well. His best bet is to pull the front ds, other than that you'll have to search for an AWD dyno. I know there's one in FL, PA and MI. There's more but those I know for sure.

EDIT: FYI Chase (2004 SSS), the C3 as what the Sierra Denali is now.

yeah i should of read that i saw his handle and assumed it wa sa syclone, but if it were me i wouldtn pull the front driveshaft but agian thats me

I would HIGHLY recommend not pulling the front drive shaft. Where are you located at? Granatelli Motorsports in Oxnard, Ca has an AWD dyno, That is where I go. It is 350 mile drive for me. Nice little road trip.

im in the san fernando valley ,oxnard is about a hour drive from me thanks everyone for your info it was really helpfull, anyone know of a real good tuner in cali been having probs with reduce engine power coming on have speed dest tune but the guy who did it couldnt fix that problem and the shop that did the motor wanted to go to a rear wheel dyno but i dont want to do that thanks shawn
