are these taller tires hurting my performance any?

the tires that are on the truck are 265/70/17.
all of the other 06's i've seen came with 245/70/17 stock.the truck also came with 3.73's and a traction lock.its an LT3 model and those were options.well if some trucks came stock with that size,then that may be my stock size.i figured that the previous owner just wanted taller tires.
well looks like i may just throw in some 4.10's.

Your tires are 31.7" tall
Do you think you will ever swap wheels, or lower? If you do you can accomplish the same effect by going to a smaller tire diameter.
