The stock 80e is much stronger than the best built 60e.

That's what I've heard, but I've also been told that the rcsb dies well with a built 60e because the weight of the truck isn't like a ecsb or ccsb. I don't want to make a $1500 mistake by buying a built 60e just to blow it up. I'm 99% sure I'll listen to you guys on this.

i broke 1 stock and 2 build 60e's before i went to the 80e, do it now not later.

Damn. I'm going to be around the 450-475rwhp range; I don't think keeping the 60e would be very fiscally-friendly.

There are alot of companies online, but like I said usually a local shop is just as good quality and cheaper, this depends though. I picked up a working 4l80e for $350, I plan on going through it though. It doesn't have to be out of a truck. They got a wide range of pricing, but yeah a good late model low milage unit 1,000-1,300.

I'm going to search and see what exactly has to be done to the driveshaft and present it to Baldrees to see if they can do it.
