Default Those with Wilwood 16" brake help TC6R

Which brake lines do you run for a 2006 Silverado 1500? I know the part number given on the website is 220-8998 but it comes with a straight fitting off the caliper that I find odd and they are 31" long lines which seem huge.

I have belltech lowering spindles, and my truck is 4wd suspension, so my brake line is in a different spot than coil spring trucks. I purchased 220-9885 which has the 90° fitting and 24" lines. I wanted input from those that have installed the kit as to which lines you picked

I plan to call Wilwood tech this morning when they open, but I'm worried they will just give me a copy paste answer for my question and tell me to get the 220-8998

i used part number 220-8998 for my 05 sierra 1500. with straight fitting. my truck has 3/5 drop and they are not too long at all. 24" might not be long enough you need the length for when you turn the wheel hard to one side or the other

Yeah the brake fitting is in between the upper control arm, where as my old 2wd had it in front of the control arm towards the front of the truck. Here's a picture:

Great pictures, thanks. What I'm going to do is measure my current SS lines and see what length they are, then mount a caliper to see if it turns lock to lock. I didn't want to get knee deep in the install and realize I can't finish because of brake lines.

The 2wd trucks definitely need that 31" line, no doubt about that

While doing some maintenance Saturday I decided to check fitment of the calipers and brake lines, but got carried away. Went through with the install since it was already taken apart

Here's how the brake lines are routed, seems good to me
