Those wondering about 4.56's....
We are almost done with the install. I will have track times this weekend hopefully. Last time at the track I went a 13.30. That was with 3.73's, stock air box, one leg'er, and a slippin converter. Installed the new Yank last night, and already have the K&N CAI in. The new converter is night and day difference from the old. No slippin at higher RPM's, just keeps pullin! A detroit tru trac is goin in along with the 4.56's. If the air stays under 5000 DA, I think I'll be in the 12's. But ya never know how the air is gonna be. Moser, and Richmond were sayin that 4.56's would not fit in my year model truck, but called Randy's Ring and Pinion and they said it would be no problem. So those that might have heard what I was told, go for it. I'll let ya'll know what happens Sat.

It's a 2wd with a drop. Figured it up, and if I ever want to spray it, I can still run a 150 shot, do a little over 118mph without goin into 4th. The 4.56's and my 28" slicks, are like a Camaro or Trans Am with 4.10's and 26" tall tires. And yes, it's a daily!! But I only drive about 2 miles to work! Only time it will be bad is drivin to the track, which is anywhere from 30-50 miles from my house. Depending on which track I go to.

I'm gonna be running 4.10's too and am looking at some 28" tall street tires. I was looking for the widest tires I could find that would fit on 20's and the widest were 335's but they come off Porche's and their tire height is 28"...Oh well.
So I can't imagine what 4.56 + 28" tires is gonna be like. What the final gear ratio you know?

I got a question on 4.56's I just had some installed on my 05 avalanche the tires are 305 35 24 I was just wondering should I have gotten them or not I csan tell the difference like night and day it had 3.42 as stock and it seemed slow as hell once I put bigger rims on it but now it seems faster...
