Default Tie rod sleeves for non-HD? help

Did a search and didn't find much.

Looking to get some tie rod sleeves to help with tie rod flex on 4wd launches. Everything I've found so far specifies 1500HD/2500HD models and not standard 1500s.

Anyone have experience with this?

Give cognito suspension a call
I know they make them. They also make frontend kits that include sleeves. Pitman arm bracket, and a straight center link. All this together will bullet proof the front of a ifs chevy..as for working on a 1500..idk.

I'm pretty sure they are the same. Stock48 bought them for his Dmax and ended up putting them on his 1500 instead.

Sweet thanks for the replies gentlemen.

Only reason I assumed all was the same was because of the fact most of the ads for products I looked at only called out 1500hd/2500hd.

Thanks again.

I got some for my lifted Sierra years ago from Readylift and they did NOT fit... I forgot what the issue was exactly, but I also forgot to return them. d'oh. They must have been for HD or 2500. I should dig those out sometime...

But now I'm possibly looking for some for my lowered rcsb as well. If you find some, please post up info! or pics!
Haven't really noticed any tie-rod flex at all on 4-hi launches (straight as an arrow!), but it'd be nice to have anyway.

I have been scoping out some 1 pc tie-rod units from CST, but they are way expensive.
Have thought of going with some heim steering, but don't want to deal with the creaking much.

I notice you're in the Mitten as well. I'm south of you, closer to Pontiac... but what'ya drive? Maybe we'll cross paths some time.
