what size tires for 18X8 wheels and a 2x4 drop

I'll try to help. CREEDERADO who apperently does not have his truck anymore
had 18x9.5 with 295/45R18 with a 2/4 drop
I also beleive he had 305/55R18 Drag radials with the set up
I am hoping to go this route as well

285/55-18 should be good for you

My buddy has Toyo Proxes in 18x8's and runs 275/55 in the rear and 255/55 up front. Looks really nice and perfect match. Covers all the gap on a 2/4.

i was thinking about 255/55 front and back. will that look dumb?

No, it wont! It will look perfectly good. The 275's are just a little more beefy and the 255's will look a tad thinner but not dumb at all!!
